This 2006 new year means some opportunities to take steps toward living a life of opportunity. Everyone is being bombarded with messages that suggests somehow or another their life is not good enough. The media reminds us that we are simply not as good looking, wealthy or as talented as we ought to be.
We are all on a journey as cliche as it sounds. Each day we take steps forward. Walking through this experience we call life is a challenge. It is painful at times and full of joy at others. I am not going to say for a moment that everyday should be great. It isn't.
Somehow or another we get through. You have accomplished a lot in life. Fear not for you are making a positive difference. You are succeeding even if it does not feel this way at times. Keep going. Keep walking through the woods. Sometimes your flashlight will come on and you will see the way to go and other times you will be walking in the dark. Keep walking.
